The St. Louis School Scrip Program is now available to our On-Line users.

The award winning Five-Star program, [drum roll please] St. Louis Scrips, [ta taa] noted for its ability to support your parish school and at the same time allow you to shop at your favorite stores or dine out with the love of your life, and sometimes with the children, or even give as a gift to your mail carrier or the person who delivers your Journal has arrived.

Now if you think the previous sentence was a run-on, but are not sure what a run-on sentence is, pick up a gift card for Borders and buy a book on grammar (not to be confused with the pizza) to check it out. However, if it’s pizza you want, pick up a card for Grammas Pizza in Owensville. These cards do not expire … the pizza, on the other hand, is another story.

 The St. Louis Scrip program has been given two thumbs-up by our roving Scrip reporter Roger Ubet for its simplicity in obtaining, on-line ordering, variety of merchants, convenient size for carrying in your purse or wallet, attractive ‘skin’ and above all, the support it gives to our parish school.

So check it out and then get ready to do your birthday, anniversary, Christmas, or any special event shopping, without leaving your home. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
